I have no idea how this can happen. Try to rename the downloaded file to "Thief_1_HDMod_1.2.exe"

Yes. The HD mod has it's own gamesys file. So the TFix gamesys file will be ignored. The "Ultimate difficulty mod" is only compatible with the HD mod because i've added the changes from the original ultimate difficulty mod to the HD mod gamesys. So only (
