Hi there,

First time trying Thief on this PC.

Have installed DDfix and it runs perfectly. Installed Indeo and the cutscenes work.

However, the game freezes mid-mission for no apparent reason. The sound keeps playing but the action locks up and I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL out.

There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern to the freezes, but they happen more often during combat situations. Happened once as soon as I clicked 'Play Mission' on the equipment screen.

Am running Windows 7 x64 on an Athlon II x4 635 with 3GB RAM

Tried the imagecfg fix but it denies that my system is multi-processor


Will post my Everest report in the next post.

As subjective effect was getting similar is'h problems, I'm gonna ask the following -


* what are you CPU/GPU load temps when your getting these stutters/freezes.
* Have you run memtest to check your memory is fine and you dont have a fault stick.
* have you checked your hard drive for errors..?
