I decided to redo a playthrough of the original Thief Gold missions, but just noticed my cutscenes are not playing. They're all in my Movies folder, and I'm updated to 1.26, but the game just skips straight to the briefing. Not sure how long ago this began

Ah never mind. It's disabled by default in cam_ext.cfg, removed the semicolon and it's working now

Actually, starting with Cragscleft, they stop playing again for some reason

that's just a description, not an actual variable. return it to its original state, reboot the computer, and the cutscenes should play. make sure you have updated the contribs as well (assuming this is a manual install).

Ok I think I figured it out. I replaced the lgvid.dll with yours, and now they're playing, thanks

you mean the static linked lgvid dll available in the TFix topic? that should be a very, very last resort thing, to be used only when everything else fails.

There is also a movies not playing fix in ND 1.26 in case you haven't updated, you might try that.

Yeah I did update, but the movies still didn't play. Is it supposed to be an automatic fix?

check your ffmpeg.dll, should be dated ‎7. ‎dec ‎2017 if you are using the 1.26 package.

Ah, I was missing the contrib files, thanks
