ok, so I recently bought a new copy of Thief: The Complete Collection, but whenever I try to play Thief Gold, none of the cutscenes will play, I first tried installing the patch on the disk which is the Indeo codec, I can now play them from the game files on Windows Media Player, but in-game they still just get skipped over.
second I tried an online fix with Regsvr32, but that didn't work so I tried using the Run option as per their second suggestion, but then I got this error.
The module "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eidos\Thief Gold\LGVID.AX" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.
For more information about this problem, search online using the error code as a search term.
I've tried people's attempts at fixing this, I have turned off UAC, I have determined that my account has proper privileges, I still can't figure out how to fix this error, please help!
I am currently running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1
