Quicksaving used to be fine for me in Thief Gold and Thief 2 (GOG versions, Tfix and Tafferpatcher installed) but now there is a moment of freezing/lag when quicksaving. I have tried restarting the games, restarting my PC, and reinstalling the patches, but nothing has worked. Any solutions?
EDIT: I just tried starting a new game in both Thief Gold and Thief 2, and quicksaving worked perfectly. Then I tried with my existing saves and the problem seemed to have gone away. What could have caused it?
