I am impressed. I know that took a LOT of work and dedication. Good show.
And I usually puke at cosplay...

I'm not really accustomed to night photography though. Does anyone have any tips?
Briareos' advice isn't necessarily wrong, but it sounds like he's talking about the characteristics of fairly un-buff compact cameras. Finding better equipment might not be too hard these days as semi pro DSLR gear is becoming more common. One of those with a nice fast lens would make the whole exercise much easier.
(
https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/WLe1RMocWBpLBSOnsEscRw?feat=directlink) This, for example, was shot late at night near my house on a Canon 60D, handheld with an unstabilised f 1.8 lens at 1/30th shutter speed, 1600 ISO (possible photo-babble there). Word is the similar Nikons are even lower noise at high ISO. With some care, a tripod and longer exposures, using even less light is quite do-able these days (Somewhat more hardcore: the Canon 5DII shooting (
http://vimeo.com/6602274) video with three candle power).
So I'd say ask around a bit. A lot of vaguely keen hobbyists can do this sort of stuff now (suddenly I wish I was back in the West End of London in those alleys with the working gas lamps)
Great stuff by the way.
