Sometimes, when he is seen not wearing the cloak, the hooded garment is worn under his armor and/or coat (he has a few layers, and in that coastal climate with four seasons, it makes sense), and the hood comes up through the neck hole. Sometimes, it's a hooded cloak he wears over everything. If you will be wearing a cloak over everything, then the hood could either be a part of the cloak, or the materials of hood and cloak should match so it seems to be one piece at a glance.

Thanks for that guys that's helped me try and track some stuff down.
I'm trying to look at the Metal Age stuff, as most of my clothing will be black, though I've bought materials that vary in texture.
The cloak material is a very dark blue, almost black. So I might attach the hood to the cloak.
I am still wondering whether to add some fake scarring, though I'll have to wear contacts so not entirely sure about that yet.
I would love to wear one green contact too, though with my eyesight the way it is, I'm not sure if that's possible or even worth it. Might just end up doing the scarring.
Now, to track down some pictures!
*EDIT*
Here's the pouch I made yesterday. I will do another one to keep my cheese and apple in, this one is home for my yummy chocolate coins

Hi guys!
Been away for a while and working a little bit on the costume, but having lots of other things to do has set me back a little. But today I'm sewing and making my cloak and tunic hopefully!
I have some plastic gems now too and a couple of new bottles. All that other work on props may take some time but I have art and commissions out of the way now so I can concentrate on getting this done again!
Pictures to come soon once I've got this stuff made today!
**EDIT**
I am currently painting some loot gems, with the glass paint I used for the glass bottles, and some permanent markers, in green and dark blue. Just have to wait for one side to dry before I paint underneath.
I got some scatter gems from my uncle's house as he was having a Christmas party! I sneakily asked if I could have some and he kindly gave me a whole packet of them! They were £2 from Morrisson's supermarket I believe, and JUSTwhat I was looking for! I am delighted :D

I was wondering how you were getting on - thanks for the update!! Yay for uncles!! :)

@nickie I'm doing ok thanks! Glad I have the time off to concentrate on this cosplay. There isn't that much to do now really. It's the arrows that are going to be a bit of a pain to do.
I'm hoping my dad can find his fletching jig for the vanes as I have turkey feather ones and would like to put them on straight!
Maybe get Christmas out of the way first before I attempt that and to sort out the lighted arrows too!

Apologies for the double post, I have some updates for you today!
I finally assembled all of my arrows! I have yet to paint the shaft and apply the right vanes, but I have assembled the bottom of the moss, gas and water arrows. I knew this would be quite a tricky part and it seemed to have pulled off ok.
I have a few photos to show you all.
Having assembled the "light up shaft" I have now hot glued them to the arrow itself. I used a small piece of card to secure the bottom of it and have a small catch near the hexagonal-prism shaped tip so I can remove the lighted section in case it needs to have its batteries replaced. I used a couple of "hook and eyes" though just the "hook" parts, and secured it by wrapping a strong piece of thread between the two parts.
This allows for the hinge mechanism.

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd215/donnamevans/assembled.jpgThe moss arrow, was a bit more challenging. I was originally looking for the kind of artificial moss you can use for train models, but it was far too expensive, so in the end I went with a polystyrene ball covered in cotton wool, skeleton leaves and acrylic paint, with a touch of cotton wrapped all the way around it.

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd215/donnamevans/mossarrow.jpgI will dress up soon, I promise!
The bow has had a re-vamp too, and a lick of paint, and a touch of leather bias as well.
More updates to follow!

Wow! Very creative, Donna! I can imagine those arrows exploding upon impact into water, gas, and moss; very 'realistic'. Great job! :thumb:

Thank you Dia! I never thought I'd be able to do those arrows but a little patience and experimentation made it possible. I need to put all the gear on and show you guys!
My dad is finding his fletching jig today so hopefully I can do the vanes.

Awesome job. I actually feel like stealing those gems. :ebil:
