Hello, TTLG! So here's what's happening: I bought the Thief pack from Steam and I was wondering if anyone here can direct me to patches/fixes for Thief 1, 2 and 3. I'm also installing them on a laptop downtairs, which will have Steam Thief 1 and 2 and retail Thief 3. Are there any necessary patches/fixes beside the ones that Steam provides? If I recall correctly, my Gold, which I've installed a while back, works perfectly fine, besides from this... choppy-ness of the screen, I'd say? When I turn, the image isn't smooth, almost feeling like framerate lag, but I think it has something to do with the ddfix or something similar. It all works perfectly fine, it's just that when I turn, it doesn't feel... smooth. Any help would be appreciated on these matters! Thanks!

This is gonna sound a bit noob-ish, but what is NewDark? Are you talking about that recently released patch for T2 by any chance? I've been out of the circuit for a while, before I had to work my ass off to make these games work, but Steam gives them in a near-perfect form. Much appreciated!

Edit: Yep, just checked. I heard that NewDark works for Thief 1 as well? Also, do TafferPatcher/TFix have it in, or do I need to install it separately? One last question would be if there's anything to get for Dealy Shadows. I think there is a widescreen mod that can be installed, right? Sorry for the barrage of questions :P

Do the following: Copy your Thief 1 and Thief 2 games folders from your /Steam/steamapps/common to another location, for Thief Gold apply this patch/fix: (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134733) http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134733, and for Thief 2, apply this patch: (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140085) http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140085. Both to be applied of course to the folders you just copied. Actually i have installed the patch for Thief 2 to my Steam installation, and it works flawless, had some problems though when i did that with Thief Gold, so it's in any case better to use installation which don't get affected by Steam.

For Thief 3, you probably want to apply this: (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138607) http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138607. Seems like it fixes multicore issues (important) and allows you to play in widescreen format. Not sure whether you can and have to copy the installation folder to another location away from Steam though. It is possible only with some games.
