I think the gameplay-demonstrations and news are getting better day by day. It seems to me that feedback hasn't fallen on deaf ears with EM.
Now I'd love to see the 3rd p. takedowns either made optional (toggleable?) or removed entirely (since 3rd p. climbing was already removed).
Arrows still don't seem to arc properly; and iron-sights on the bow would be cool instead of the HUD reticle, which hopefully can be at least turned off.
Also, they should work with the upgrade names - buying "Damage Resistance 1" sounds (almost) hilariously generic. Acquiring different tools like the ratchet and wire-cutters sounds cool, though.

Aren't third person takedowns already optional, in the sense that you can just use the standard first person blackjacking?
I know I'm not currently expecting to use the 3rd person takedown command, at least not regularly.
How would you make it more optional? Would you have an option to disable it entirely? What would be the advantage of that as opposed to just not using the command?

yo this looks like shit
Yeah. Pretty much.
At one point I tried imagining Elias Toufexis' voice as that of NuGarrett, but even that didn't help. Great lip synch, btw. ....... Not.
AND WTF IS UP WITH PURSES VANISHING IN PUFFS OF SMOKE???!!!
Good Lord.
I don't even .......

It would be interesting to see what the Swoop Superpower looks like from an outside perspective...Then we would know if NuGarrett's legs are still or moving, whilst levi-sliding.
Perhaps his feet turn into a blur of swirling, puffy black smoke.

That's true. In a sense they are optional. I guess I would make an option to disable 3rd p. takedowns as a menu item; maybe not disabling takedowns per se, rather keeping takedowns in 1st p. view.
Ideally I would personally remove takedowns altoghether, but they're not a biggie for me, even less so since I can opt not to use them. This is more in the "would be nice" category rather than "must be like this" one. :)

Didn't they already mention using XP to upgrade the bow? Not that this joke wasn't already beaten into the ground but I'm fairly sure they've already made it a reality.

Yup - You can spend your gold on on new tools and upgrade your existing tools - including bow upgrades that will make you draw faster or give your arrows a 10% damage bonus to all targets.
Did they borrow that text from Deus Ex jay wonders?

Already when Basso was giving small sidequests I was reminded of The Witcher and its RPG elements. Is this a general trend in current game development? I know user incapacitation is, but RPG elements in action adventure games?

Is this real? Also, why does it have to look like this? I mean the font and overall "shop-like" look. If they cannot do it in-game, at least they could do it in style. This just looks like some Xbox dashboard or microtransaction screen. So much for immersion...
