City map showing Dayport (lower right), bridge on a riverin the middle, Power City? (upper right), and "....rt" "....riet of Auldale" (map label)
I think that is "...rict of Auldale" as in District of Auldale.
Power city? so the Hammers built a whole little city to power the rest of the city. Interesting. Could have some nice steampunkish moments in there.

'riet' = 'rict' = 'district' - ????? Just guessing.

Thanks for the information Beleg! That was well written!
How did you find noise in the game? Did guards seem to react as you would expect, or did it seem as though you could remain silent with no effort?

One question: was swooping and jumping separated to different buttons on the build you played? Or were they the same button?
That was separated. Swooping appeared to loose momentum when used several times in a row but it is extremely powerful when used only a few times. It appears to me like it is partly contextual, too, since you can for instance swoop down a staircase (don't know what it's supposed to look like in real life) but on other occasions it was just enough to reach the next shadow. But I'm not completely sure about that and after all swooping was said to be tweaked still. The peeping feature which gets you attached to some edge looks cool but again the "contextuality" might get you stuck on some place where you don't want (because it's executed by the standard frob button which you also use for loot).

Thanks! The noise thing was hard to determine, even though the event wasn't overly loud and we had headphones. I alerted several guards by walking or running behind them, maybe even by swooping into them, but I had a hard time getting right how noisy Garrett was. As I said, this might be due to outer circumstances or me not having a clue with all the new game elements, but Garrett definitely didn't wear tap shoes. I'd probably need a second hands-on (although I had two hours which was great) to be extra sure. Crouching was silent but I don't know in how far the different walking speeds (after all, analog stick, no sneaking button) affected the noise Garrett made.

It would be interesting to see what the Swoop Superpower looks like from an outside perspective...Then we would know if NuGarrett's legs are still or moving, whilst levi-sliding.
