I recently got the "Thief: Complete Collection" DVD and installed it on my new laptop (running vista). I am running T2 in XP compatibility mode, installed the scripts, and run it as an administrator then exit out and shut down one CPU. I can run T2 with no problems doing this (including movies). I initially tried using GarrettLoader and installed it, directed it to where I keep my FMs and loaded up Rose Cottage. It appeared to load it, but when I hit play (or go through the desktop icon) I still get vanilla T2. So I reset it to original T2, unistalled GL and got DarkLoader instead. Got the same deal...missions appear in the interface, if I install one it goes through all the motions of loading it, but when I play I still just get the original missions instead of the FM. Any help would be appreciated...I only bought a new copy of the games to play some of the recent T2 FMs that look so good.
