Thief doesn't work. :(

Hello Everyone. :)
I'm new here. ;) I've heard a lot good things about the Thief series, so I've wanted to experience it on myself. When I launch the game, I'm getting an error. That's probably because I've got Windows 7. Can anyone help me?? :)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you aren't using the (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140085) brand spanking new patch that just came out a couple days ago and which everyone is still going gaga over?
Try using the v1.19 patch.

you might want to try (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134733) TFix, if you are running the first Thief (or Thief Gold).

Voodoo is too modest. He means you absolutely definitely want to use TFix.
