Thief Deadly Shadows Problem: Player moving Forward and Left nonstop

I haven't played the game in a year and a half, so i was finally catching up on a few Fan Missions and when i load up the game, i am moving left and forward nonstop unless i press Back and right.

I am pretty sure i figured out how to fix it before, but as i said, i haven't played in over a year, so don't remember what i do to fix it.

Anyone else know what to do to fix that?

I don't have a gamepad or joystick hooked up.

On a sort of related note, When i am in the menu or reading a mission or objective and the scrolling window is more than one page going down, I can't technically scroll.

I have to grab the scroll button in the window and drag and hold, but it is forcing itself back up to the top.

I have always had that problem since i had the game.

I'm thinking it might be my keyboard, but i don't have a spare one to switch out right now. I've switched the mice already for the scrolling issue, but it persists.

Welp, looks like i fixed the movement problem.

I found that the game assigned alternate Joystick movement keys as secondary. I right cliicked them to remove the mappings.

I don't know how it did that, because i haven't used a gamepad on the computer for years and i certainly never used it with Thief.
