Hey everyone,
I did a search and didn't see this problem so either I'm unique or I'm bad at searching.
Essentially Garrett is floating. I jump and the animation locks with him floating. In the air. About a foot off the ground. I can float around and annoy guards but I can't jump, crouch, mantle etc...
This game was previously going.
Specs:
Intel e8500 (dual-core)
2gb ram
8800gt 512
I've run ImageCFG.exe to set the CPU affinity to just one CPU but I'm still having problems.
If anyone has any solutions please let me know.

It happened to me too in Gamall's Lair when trying to hike the walls in the courtyard with the statue and balconies. essentially the only thing you can do is try and load a saved game. otherwise, just try to get to a transition point while not jumping at all, it might reset the animation.

It usually also lets you loose if you fall from somewhere and Garrett's feet touch the ground again.

do a quick save then a quick load - as that works for me when that happens..
