There are two things you can try, assuming the videos are the source of the crashes:
1) Rename/remove lgvid.ax (temporarily) and see if missions load.
2) Rename/remove 'cutscenes' folder (again, temporarily) and then fire up the game.
DDfix is not going to do you much good as far as I know, although the newer versions are DX6 based, I think it is designed for modern graphics cards & drivers.
Anyway, if the above does the trick then the videos are definitely the problem, but how to get them to show up in-game is another matter entirely. . .

I have thief gold if that changes anything, because i can not find a cutscene folder and i changed the name of the LGVID.AX to __LGVID.AX and that did not help... so is there a cutscene folder that i just am being stupid and cant find or is there none on thief gold

I don't have Thief Gold but I would be surprised if it didn't have cutscenes. Maybe it is an installation thing similar to System Shock 2; where a full install installs game and cutscenes while the smaller installs don't and instead the game will look for the cutscenes on the CD (as one can see in install.cfg).
Anyway, I'm starting to suspect this is a safe_texture_manager thing, although it is unlikely with your GPU. That error causes a black screen on mission load in any dark engine game. The FAQ is a good resource for testing that theory.

I have read through the FAQ like ten times and tried out a couple of things but the thing is you cant use the FAQ to its fullest unless you know what exactly is your problem and the problem with that is i dont know what exactly is my problem. So do we have any ideas how to fix all this stuff?

AFAIK, guys, in Thief 1&2 a cutscenes are in the "MOVIES" folder.
