Just FYI, the app (free version) is out for Android - U.S. only for the moment. Just search for it in Google Play. The iOS version should be coming shortly, per Freyja on the official forums.

The app was what I expected, an advertising tool. It is worth noting that the ambient music was pretty good. There are a handful of new (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=140624&page=4) screens and character details. Corpse bride Erin?

The ambient track sounds alright, nothing that special though but it does have a Thiefy feel to it for sure. :)
