Currently junior year, and I've managed to maintain a 3.7 GPA average my entire time here. I'm neck deep in two courses right now: Materials & Lighting as well as Project Management. The former has come pretty naturally, while the latter is a logistics nightmare. I've been burned out all week.
I've got a new found respect for game producers though, as they probably have one of the most under-appreciated jobs in the industry. Having that top down cold perspective on a project that is often driven by passionate people can make you look like a villain sometimes, as you end up killing a lot of developers' baby rabbits when they just aren't working and have to be cut. If I ever see Stephane Roy again, I may have to give him a hug.

You have the arrogance to interpret basically every piece of information released in the ways of your inflammatory mindset. Agreed, I didn't start the thread to call this fan into question, the way it seemed she was promoted as the uberfan didn't sit well with me. Was just feeling nitpicky.

It doesn't matter if she likes the new game, it doesn't matter if she doesn't like all the negativity and criticism about it from the old fans, it doesn't matter if you only find evidence of her blogging going back 3 months.
What does matter is that EM decided this was good publicity and put her in the spotlight, so the issue is with EM not with Ms Ahmed.
And why we're at it why in the seven hells has anyone got to 'prove' anything to anyone else, so the story looks a bit 'bleeding heart' or 'cheesy' to some, so the person in question is female and photogenic and articulate and expresses views you don't like.
That does not mean it's BS and she does not have to prove anything to anyone here.
Once more with feeling, EM are going to pick whoever they damn well want to for their spotlight and it's not going to be someone who expresses criticism, the issue is with EM's selection process-where EM pass over people who are critical of the new game and it is not with the people they select.
