We don't "hate" people here, we do defend our viewpoint and sometimes get a little heated but there's no hate.
Thank you for the information.

Even though I'm in the right country, I'm in the wrong area. If I knew for a fact I'd definitely get a crack at playing the T4 demo I might even shell out the bucks to make the trip. Otherwise, I guess we'll have to appeal to those Taffers who live in the area.
Thanks for the info, calmflow. Much appreciated.

Yes, this does indeed seem to be key. I guess I am a little confused or at least feel things are unlcear about this. I dont know if everyone here has already just assumed that b1skit was lying about people from TTLG going to the next one and playing Thief for themselves, but I certainly figured he was full of it.
The confusion for me is that after b1skit essentially invited us to the next E3, it seems as though people arent as determined to do it as I had imagined.

All he really said was "there will be opportunities to play the game at future shows and events." He didn't get specific, but it sounds like is one of those opportunities. AFAIK, the Comic Con is open to the public, so hopefully we have a TTLGer closeby who can check it out.
There's no doubt interest from people here, but it all comes down to location. Not many people are going to be willing to pay for airfare and hotel just to try out the new game.

Yeah, Goldmoon Dawn, as far as I could tell b1skit was basically just saying that thief would be shown at public occasions in the future, and it's up to us to take the initiative to drop by.

For anyone in the area who might be thinking of going, here's some additional info I saw on the blog:
Quote:
Square Enix has partnered with AMD and (
http://geekandsundry.com/) Geek & Sundry to bring you the “Gamers' Refuge”, a cool and relaxing getaway steps away from the hustle and bustle of the San Diego convention center. Join us and see a plethora of games new and old - including Eidos-Montréal's Thief - and take part in the busy activity schedule being held by Geek & Sundry.

Anyone actually go to this? The way it was worded, it sounds like it was just a demo, not hands-on gameplay (though EM wouldn't confirm this on their website). I wonder if it's the same demo as E3, or something different.
