What is the Event?
In the linked video, two locations from each of 15 different fan missions for Thief 1 and 2 are featured. Do you recognize them? If so, show me that you are the biggest thief fan by naming them!
How do I Participate?
Just like last time, you can participate only by sending me a private message. You do not, however, have to suggest titles for all the missions. You can submit as few or as many as you'd like. I will reply privately and let you know which missions of the ones you suggested are correct. Each participant will get a maximum of 2 attempts. The contest will end at midnight Saturday, September 24th.
What is the Prize?
The winner will be the person who has correctly named the most amount of missions by the end of the contest time. He or she will get to choose a Thief mission for me to feature on my Supreme Ghosting YouTube channel, and crown him or herself Master Taffer. :sly: If multiple participants name all 15 missions correctly before the end of the competition, I will host a second, smaller event with scenes from two more missions. Only the winners of the first round will be able to participate in the second round.
Please be mindful not to spoil too much when commenting. This event is meant to trigger fun discussion around the featured missions, but your knowledge will also reveal information for other participants. For example, if you recognize a few of the missions, please do not just blurt out the names of those. Instead, you could perhaps give some loose hints (author, plot, release year), or participate in the contest yourself.
Any questions or constructive criticism on the format of the competition is welcome.
May the best taffer win! :thumb:

I've enjoyed the previous competitions and I think these ambience snippets encourage people to play fan missions, which is a good thing. My experience with The Dark Mod is very limited, but perhaps others are more familiar with the levels created for this particular game.

Exactly. That's why I wanted to do one where all the missions basically are recommendations. I think it goes well with the recent best-of polls, where even if you haven't played many of them, you now have a reason to.

maybe with a theme of strange locations???

That's a good idea, but perhaps next time. This time I just wanted to make it easier, since the last one was on the tougher side. I basically wanted to motivate more to participate.

>throwing in a couple of well known Dark Mod missions, just to apply to a wider audience
I think adding additional parameters actually narrows the set. Especially if those parameters are so different. I would suggest keeping the Dark Mod in a separate competition.

Go for it. These competitions are fun.

I enjoy the ambience selections - so a third one and a DarkMod one would be perfectly AWESOME

If the scenes are captured well, watching them can be interesting or relaxing. A reel of scenes can be reused after the competition to showcase the atmosphere of Thief.
I would love to see another ambience reel. :D

Thanks for the feedback guys! I will do another contest then, but I have decided not to include Dark Mod missions, but instead do a contest just for TDM afterwards.
