Those look great. I imagined AI would be the best way to produce high res textures, it can do a better upscale faithful to the original than any human could

in top pic with the 6 windows with the same lighting in each window is omg so hard to look at, i am shocked the people who made thief, did not just flip or rotate them to make them seem a bit different
now the bottom windows by a.i. i kinda like how it seems like you can see inside the building and they both different looks, but the rest of the a.i is not so great, except for a couple things
that hammer door is great and the metal emblem thing is nice, the rest is not right, for example in bottom pic the concrete design on cannon is different then right side which added what looks like grapes so it put wrong era of stuff = remember thief is not any one era but a mix of era's and lore, so somethings stand out in a bad way to me

The game easily has 100 window textures lol.. it got kind of tedious. I think it's easy to see these faults as a player, or a modder, but when they're making these games they're on a tight schedule, unfortunately. It's why so much is always left out, or done in a really lazy way.
If there weren't so many windows i would've added an alpha channel to them, so you could see through them slightly.
Not sure what you mean with grapes and cannon, no clue which image that would be.

yeah, i mean no one would spend like 2 years on doing these textures by hand. These took like a week, 5-10h of work each day.

Impressive, but genuine art without the human element is fundamentally lazy and soulless. That's just hard reality, no matter the convenience it provides. Still, it has practical uses.
