I was watching a YT video of 15 upcoming Stealth Games. Since I've always been a Thief fan, I wondered... and...sure enough, there was a teaser for Thief 5.

FF the timeline to 16:10. The thing is made entirely of Thief 4 in-game capture. I drilled down a bit and found articles saying Eidos Montreal was totally focused on Assassin's Creed and "had no time
to spend on developing a new Thief Game from the ground up." Translation: We've found the Golden Goose and are gonna squeeze it til it honks.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I'm gonna look into it as soon as I can, and the family (in-law) drama dies down. Ugh, I hate drama! :rolleyes:

After Thief 4 I don´t need a Thief 5. They should just leave it be.
I´m really surprised about the news of a "The witcher Remake". Is this for real?

I think this is just a case of a random youtube channel manufacturing news that isn't real. If there was a new Thief game in the works, there'd be way more coverage and press.

Indeed. AFAIK the last hints of a new Thief game was last year when (https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/embracer-sees-great-potential-in-crystal-dynamics-and-eidos-montreal-sequels-remakes-and-remasters/) Embracer bought EM and all that other stuff and hinted it would be cool to make some sequels to all those old IPs.

i guess i am going to have to clear the record once again "thief reboot is not thief 4" so no thief 5 please stop destroying the correct titles to thief games,i will also be so nice as to list game titles

thief the dark project = 1
thief the metal age = 2
thief deadly shadows = 3

thief reboot = 1
