I hate to break up the smiley love-exchange here but discussions about who's upset about whom are misplaced and multiple winking smilies really distract from the main topic. It's not helpful for this to be a thread that acts as a dumping ground so I'd ask if personal discussions could be taken out of thread.

I prefer the second image.
But I absolutely prefer the general look of EM's Garrett. I like the artistic detail given to body and clothing.

Thanks Springheel. I hadn't noticed the smoke before. I wonder what's up with that? God! At this point I wish I could shake up the powers that be at EM and make them give us more information!

Here's a crazy outlandish idea, did it not occur to them to introduce an older Garrett? You know, one who has seen and done a lot, and has experienced subtle character changes from his experiences through the series? Apparently characters aging and developing has become an outdated concept, because you know, being older and having more knowledge is too boring, we need our Garrett leaping through windows dramatically like a ninja and dodging swords, instead of being so damn good he can just become one with a shadow and avoid fighting altogether. Builder I hate reboots... all thanks to Nolan and his shoddy Batman series.

Russell sounds to old? Based on what? His Skyrim nods to Garrett? When was the most recent time you've heard him do Garrett? Was he too old in 2004 in TDS?

@gigagooga: you're entitled to your opinon, but I disagree. Garrett's voice is deep (at least it always was up until T4), but that's not a sign of age; I've known men in their 20s who have very deep voices. And though I'm sure Mr. Romano is a decent actor, his voice sounds too high and lacks emotion - at least in the video I've seen. Granted, not having SR voice Garrett is not enough to absolutely ruin the game (for me), but it's a serious detractor.

I'm not sure I'm happy with the idea of a new voice while I get that this is a reboot so to speak I've always thought of Garrett's voice being as it is now and a new one will take some getting used to.
At this point I just want to get my hands on the game this 10 year wait has awful.
