I always thought that Garrett was 35/40 too. Anyway he never sounded too old for me. I will miss Stephen, that's for sure.
I'm also annoyed by the fact that we can see his face, even if I have to admit that he's very nice. But some mystery about him is spoiled this way.
I don't want to see his face, his hands or his toes, I just want to pretend that I am Garrett while I'm playing.
Oh well....we'll see....

Funny, I always pictured Garrett as pretty young in the games, around 20-25 years old.

Yep. They seem to be a bit enamoured with it though...notice the blue smoke that comes trailing out of it in most shots? Certainly not an afterthought. My bet is they tie it into the focus ability, which is supposed to be worked into the story somehow.

Kind of makes the face mask pretty stupid, when you think of it. Or are there enough people with glowing mechanical eyes in the city that it's still worth disguising yourself?

My sentiments exactly Lady R! Immersion is VERY important to me in any game I play and the concern that NuGarrett will be sneaking about the City with his hands forever held out in front of him bothers me. We don't know enough yet, but hopefully EM's taking some notes.

Blue smoke comes out of Garrett's mechanical eye? Didn't notice that. Hope we don't have cutscenes for that every time he uses the Focus thing. (As if the heavy black eye-shadow and ninja mask weren't enough.)
