Thief 4 will be awesome if it has weather effects.
Thief 4 will be awesome if more people get what they want, rather than a shift from one audience to another, with some overlap.
Thief 4 will be awesome because a couple of people will discover TDP/Gold/TMA AND like them.
Thief 4 will be awesome if the T4 fans can talk fondly of it years afterward, as a special game that spoiled the rest of gaming for them, and there aren't too many bitter people who claim fandom but paradoxically have little good to say about anything.




Now here's a secret: If Thief 4 is "awesome" in the same despicable sense of games and game elements being "kewl", my words will still apply, but the meaning will be flipped on its head (two sides of the same coin). I expect, heh, betrayal, and betrayal is best served up after relaxing the betrayed and making them feel safe. I have not been lulled. The more truth comes out, free of the sycophantic F4ITHful's happy spin, the sooner, the better. Same as it was with DX3. The sooner the better, or there will be drama, and none of us here now have to be around for that eventuality, and it will come regardless.
