Ok, who wants to speculate on the "In my dreams I see her dying" line?
Here's hoping for a dark romance.

I rolled my eyes a bit at the "The city's changed; I've changed" line. For a complete reboot, it sure sounded like they were trying to imply a sequel.
I liked the jibe about the weak holding onto the past. That could be finger poking at the frothers, but it's probably just a beautiful coincidence.

Thanks!

OH WOW! The amount of Nu-Gen "pretentious trying to be cool" factor in that trailer has been ratcheted up to new heights of outlandishness.
The new Garret voice is :eww: Might as well have opted for Nolan North. Sounds like a high school drama student reading from a script. And that script, oh god, it's like the first draft they wrote in 2 minutes and just rolled with it. Not to mention the generic indie rock + epic orchestral soundtrack... urhgghg.
Also, is it just me or does it seem like in addition to mascara-eyes and a BDSM-style leather suit Garrett has long, painted fingernails now? They really want to milk that goth-emo crap for all that it's worth huh?

"her" would be "The City"

I'm tired of those drama-action trailers. At least Garret sounded like he didn't give a single f**k despite it was hell over The City. Sticking with his own business ...
Wait, was he planning to kidnap that woman and eventually do some naughty things ?

So it looks like the game will take place in the middle of a revolution. The setting can be interesting, but I fear overall it will just be chaotic.
No more wandering around in the streets, enjoying the atmosphere of a sleeping city, now I imagine you'll have to make your way through barricades and plague striken people in a depressing mood. Wait & see, but it doesn't really appeal to me, looks too serious, too grey :erg:
Is it me or does the trailer focus more on the City than NuGarret himself ?

I got that sense too. None of Garrett's scenes seemed connected in any way to the (rather generic sounding) rebels or the baron. If their story is anything other than a backdrop, it certainly wasn't revealed in the trailer. Was there any hint of an actual story?

God I hope not. Why not just put the Batman mask on him and be done with it, if that's the case?
My first thoughts were Viktoria (though I doubt she's in the reboot) or the girl apprentice we saw at the end of T3.

And so it should be.
I want a massive, vibrant city to sneak around. The City is the most important thing, after the way you control Garrett of course.
