The "joke" is pretty much unintelligible (French speakers who can read English won't always get "drop the ball", let alone a Frenchified version where 'drop' has been translated into 'abandon', let even more alone one where you replace the proverbial ball with a different non-sequitur). It would be nice if you stopped acting so goddamn smug and superior all the time.
My bad. I used a translator. I did think abandon was an odd word!

By the way people, could you please explain me what does the following expressions and words mean? pedestrian, oar, drop the ball, the song remains the same
Ha!
The pedestrian oar comment was pure comedy gold. As far as the song remains reference, just forget about it. I jumped the gun, and Mr Effect and myself have already sorted it out via PM.

Seriously, you really got and original yet subtle way of talking and making jokes and sarcasms, I wish I could also speak this way. I'm definitely jealous

Pedestrian = travelling by foot, walking (literally). Used to describe something that is slow, boring, uninteresting, etc, and is much more so than it should be.
Oar = thing for steering and propelling a boat. 'Sticking your oar in' means to interfere, or to enter an argument without being invited (e.g. to start trying to steer the boat without being asked).
Drop the ball = from some sport or other where you aren't supposed to drop a ball. Cricket maybe? Anyway it means to f*** something up.
The Song Remains The Same = a lame song (or film or something) by these overrated gits everyone who hasn't listened to new music in about 20 years thinks are still cool. Basically a really STUPID AND DUMB way of saying 'hey, things are still the same!'

And yes, I still want croissants. Who doesn't want croissants??
Caradavin on 5/8/2013 at 23:21
If I had a croissant, I might be willing to read all of these pages, as it is I read the first and last three. Ok, what I wanted to say was that I was also under the impression the Thi4f was going to be only console but when I went to the website for the game, it said it was also for PC. Actually, it now has the Ps4, XboxOne, and PC software symbols so they played it smart (whew). But..............
Garrett is wearing a freaking corset
I like Square Enix and all, but their characters always look so....metrosexual, what is up with that? :laff:

And a cloak !! It definitely suits him imo and at least he doesn't look like an awful vagrant (TDS), while in the TDP, TMA and TDS 2D cutscenes he looked young and reserved
