Thief (4) Features. What we know is in, what we know is out. - by SubJeff

The final cutscene, with the urchin girl (some think she's a boy and will arm wrestle you over it), where people get inspired to believe it means something that entirely does away with the arc and motive of everything that came before, including Garrett's line right after activating the Final Glyph. The story ideas so many people get are shocking to me everytime. When EM said they considered a new character for nuThief, I hoped it wasn't because they thought the same dreadful thing.

Can Unreal 3's assets be ported over, or are they completely incompatible?
UE3, yeah. No problem. Most models are saved as .fbx files, which can be opened in Blender with a little bit of effort. From there, it's a matter of tweaking the model to fit your target engine, and exporting it out to a compatible format.
Though if you're talking about Thief 4 specifically, that might be a different story altogether. Remember, EM is using an inhouse modified version of UE3. If they used some proprietary format built specifically for their games, it'll be like pulling teeth getting their models into another engine.

It was the last media release sent to the gaming magazine from Square-Enix, along with a still of nuGarrett's face from the end of the trailer.
