Your use of caps makes you look silly.
Anyone would look silly in a cap, but that's another story. As consoles get closer to PCs, I agree that it could bode well for cross platform development, and it could help independent developers, and those willing to take more risks, since they could reach a wider audience.

I bet it IS jtr7 though. This is his trollsona. Bet you.
I'll wager $1,000 that this is not jtr7, as such a thing would be beneath him...My Paypal account is ready when you are.

On the contrary, what is silly here is your inability to perceive the appropriateness of capitalizing "THIEF"...just as the logo dictates...

LOOKING GLASS STUDIOS released THIEF THE DARK PROJECT today, published by EIDOS INTERACTIVE.
We don't capitalize words just because some marketing material somewhere does. All caps is harder to read and draws the eye, making it inappropriate to use in the middle of a sentence. For instance, some publications insist on using (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_caps) small caps for acronyms.
Of course, this is just an internet forum and I don't really care how you write, but seeing as we're on the subject, it is a bit silly.
EDIT: Vivian, you're serious? I don't think jtr7 would be physically capable of typing that post without keeling over and being sick.

Although I appreciate your desperate move, it still does not refute the rightful and appropriate use of THIEF as the game title...as your distortive attempt at reasoning only applies grammatically to the general use of non-intellectual property expressions.

You are a living contradiction.
I do plenty of bashing. But jtr isn't being bashed here - someone genuinely suspects (wrongly imho, since jtr doesn't express himself so coherently) that this character is jtr returning.
And in case you've ever wondered; I only ever mention you in passing because you're like a fart - mildly unpleasant but of no real consequence. Yes, this makes you lesser than jtr and Goldmoon dawn. You're officially the rubbish one in the nutjob crew.

I think you'll find, if you bother to pay attention for once in your life, that many film, game and book titles are in capital letters on covers, posters and advertisements. This represents a convention used in such situations rather than any " appropriateness of capitalizing".
Take a look at The Times. The website in Google clearly shows up as The Times and not THE TIMES despite the actual title on the newspaper (and website) being in full capitals.
But I'm digressing. In the Thief: The Dark Project manual the games is referred to as "Thief: The Dark Project" and not "THIEF: The Dark Project"
I'm sure that no one on this forum will be surprised at your failure to grasp these concepts being as you are, in totality, the rubbish one. It'd be sad, if you weren't also so utterly unlikeable.

Wow Vae, you really take the cake sometimes. I have to give you credit for making me look up trademark information for the first time in my life, though. Quite interesting.
Here's some trademark info for thief the dark project: (

I believe it is a "standard character" trademark, which from my quick googling, indicates it covers the words themselves, and not any styling elements such as capitalization or fonts.

I love that we are discussing, arguing, and citing wikipedia about caps and their appropriateness all because one person used it :tsktsk:. Riveting stuff. ANYWAYS, I was hoping someone could shed light on something I noticed in the E3 demo. It looked like simply opening a door was a complicated, grandiose endeavor. Is that unique to the demo or is that going to be standard?

Shinrazero, in more detail, what would you describe as complicated and grandiose?
