Very true.
World of Warcraft, The Sims, Diablo, and toss in Half-Life. That's it. There's your ENTIRE PC market. Those games keep the PC alive. Once a new version of those games come out, they sell such a ridiculously large number that it skews the stats. All of a sudden, people say, "PC games are alive and well." Well, we know the truth.

I can't wait for Thief gameplay. It really never was suited to mouse and keyboard play. A Playstation controller will no doubt feel more natural. I can't wait.
Well - this should help clear up any doubts anyone here might have had about this user being a complete troll. :tsktsk:

I'm an ex PC gamer. I got tired of the PC racket. Fleecing the consumer at every turn. Buy a computer in December, and in July, it won't be capable of running the latest games.

I guess you didn't catch the sarcasm.
No, the PC is still doing quite well and thriving, just as it always has, and probably will continue to do so into the future now that the consoles are basically PCs without Windows. From here on out, it'll be better and easier for a developer to target the PC first, then slightly downscale the graphics to maintain a smooth framerate on the consoles. Other than having to jump between DirectX and OpenGL, there won't be any such thing as a "console port".

Why do you say jtr is a troll? He is one of the most knowledgeable people on these boards when it comes to LGS and Thief lore. Lots of people disagree but I've never seen him pull a line in the water like mensa is clearly doing.

Renz, you are absolutely right. I never understood the "weak PC" argument.
Renault on 30/6/2013 at 21:28
jtr would never argue in favor of consoles, quite the opposite. Not to mention that, as far off base as Mensaboy is, he at least types coherently and and his "material" is quite straightforward and easy to read. He's about as far from jtr as you're gonna get.

What Shin and Brethren say, is true...I suggest that this ridiculous jtr7-bashing cease at once, as despite his lengthy and unconventional diatribes, he is one of the most well-informed and regarded members of the THIEF community.

No one is bashing anyone.
Your use of caps makes you look silly.
Vivian on 30/6/2013 at 22:19
I bet it IS jtr7 though. This is his trollsona. Bet you.
