Don't worry, they are giving their best to work "taffer" into the game somehow. It will be just like old times. Trust me.
They will have both modern swearing for the modern audiences and silly old words for silly old fans. Everyone wins!
That'd be hilarious if enabling "Purist Mode" switched on a completely different next-gen game, rich with Thief lore, fantasy, story, detail, gameplay, mystery, weapons/items, stealth and speech.

I think the whole next gen dog thing is them making fun of Call of Duty, where they made this absolutely huge freaking deal about your dog companion during the Xbox One presentation.
Ahh, thank you. That makes more sense. I've seen that CoD video, too; whoops.

You better mention Dark Souls 2, or I will punch you in the neck, Bukary.
The Witcher will consume your soul. Twice. :grr:

I'm sure I agree with lots of what you said, especially about fashion, but that's not what (

Being stealthy and being a predator aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. After all, sneaking up behind someone and stabbing them in the back of the head isn't vastly different than blackjacking them from a gameplay standpoint.
What's important is that it's incredibly difficult to fight more than one guard head on. Whether you're a ghost or an assassin, you should have to rely on stealth.

Oh, I'll play The Witcher, and I'll love it. But I'll love Dark Souls 2 even more, I bet. Cuz it's awesome.

I would pay full price to play Call of Duty: The War Dog Warfighters Who Fight Wars

Don't you mean... Collar of Duty.
Ok, I'll stop now.
Renzatic on 12/6/2013 at 21:59
Collar of Duty...hmm. Yeah. That works, but only when paired with my subtitle.

Tell that to the judge ;)
What rubbed was Steph explaining that he wanted Thief to appeal across multiple user types (including aggressive players) because it would make sales "nice". Which is sorta the opposite of what you we're saying. Who knows what they'll actually deliver though.

Negative:
-- arrows can go through helmets, apparently
And they couldn't in Thief 1 and 2? You know that they do in real life, right?
