Hello, I've got a question that's already been asked in this thread: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83970) - but I thought I'd repost it here. Does anyone know where does T3 store LightCutoff and shadow details variables?

I have a request: can anyone locate a value that controls how long guards continue to search for you? Additionally, how long it takes them to get winded? I'd like to increase both values.

I've figured out a way to enable the debug menu, its a definate hack method, but it works without to much hassle.
Simply open up your T3UI.ini file and copy everything under [DebugMenu] (that is from Type=Menu to PauseGame=TRUE) and paste it over everything under [CreditsWindow] (none of the original stuff should be left under it) do this with [T3Credits] aswell.
Then to access the debug menu in game just press escape and goto title menu and click on credits, you'll be put back in game with the debug menu. You have to use the arrows keys and enter to do stuff and after using it you'll lose your hud until you press escape but it works. You'll have to go back to the title menu everytime you want to use the debug menu, yes it's slow and annoying and you could probably replace the item/loot screen with the debug menu but this method works.
(i've only got the demo but it should work with the full version)

You dont need T3menu.ini - its all done in T3UI.ini !!
You copy the text under [DebugMenu] and paste it over the text under [CreditsWindow] and [T3Credits] as was mentioned. :)
I just tried it (in the demo). It seemed to work.
Was able to give myself gas/fire/moss arrows, along with oil flasks/gasbombs/etc. It also allowed a FPS counter to be shown and a load of other things -some of which I have no clue about lol :laff:
just about to see if i can use climbing gloves.
Edit: Yep, can climb.

I can't imagine I'm alone in being somewhat in awe of the technical depth you all have plumbed here. I play games; don't know a thing about taking them apart. I'm enjoying this thread and look forward to trying to implement some of the ideas here, trying of course to make sure I don't overwrite or change something I drastically need.
Thanks for sharing this stuff.

There's some great options in the debug mode. I'm quite partial to 2x speed and extremely far away zoom in 3rd person, turns the game into Warcraft 3 :p Wireframe looks kind of TRON-esque, v nice.
If you have the full game and T3Menu.ini doesn't exist download it here: (
http://www.alexnolan.co.uk/T3Menu.ini) (temp link, plz mirror if this works), stick it in your /System directory, and let us know if it works.
Edit: I think this should work, because removing the T3Menu.ini file causes the error to occur in the demo too.

is there any indication about difficulty in debug mode? To fix this...look at this thread:
