While playing, I had noticed a bug with Garrett's backward animations. It seems as if the animations when running backwards diagonally are swapped. (i.e. running diagonally left-backwards plays the right-backwards animation)
It seems as if this would be an easy fix, but I've tried and haven't gotten anywhere. Any ideas?

To all the tweakers. . . respect. Amazing amount guys. When I get the game I'll be back for some altereations.

I like a tiny bit of arrow trail (to find them back ). It is possible to replace the hideous blue trails with a weak small yellowish trail which is much less obtrusive.
This sounds exactly like what I want to have, but the instructions are a little complicated for a amatuer tweaker like me. Any chance of getting a premodified file?

<em>PLEASE</em> Get rid of the <code><a name="foo"></a></code> stuff. It sucks. :tsktsk:
Use some decent tags, like:
<code>
<h1 id="foo">word</h1>
<p id="keyword">word</p>
</code>
Works much better and keeps you from getting this annoying underline effect when you mouse over the words.
To change the tone a bit. (wink wink to Jer) I really appriciate this thread but it's just very annoying to read. Keep up the good work. :thumb:

That doesn't tell me very much.
How?

I tried your suggested tags, and nothing changed. The hyperlinks remained underlined, just like every other hyperlink on the board.

well that means the texture file which is 8.3 Mbyte... my bandwidth is not up to that, sorry
it really isn't that hard, i've added a step by step guide (credits do not go to me btw).
if you make a backup copy of the file first you can't really mess up the game ;)

1 - download the free hex editor XVI.
2 - make a backup of the file ..\CONTENT\T3\Maps\Kernel_GFXALL.ibt
3 - Load the file Kernel_GFXALL.ibt in XVI
4 - do a search for the name "swooshc01" (which is the bitmap name with the arrow trail)
5 - highlight the first letter: 's'
6 - click on the menu "tools" and choose "bit manipulation", put a check mark for bit nr 7
7 - the name should now read "ówooshc01"
8 - save the file
9 - download this file (right click save): swooshc01.dds
and place it in ..\CONTENT\T3\PCTextures\DynamicallyLoaded\
I made it as far as step 4. How do you search for that name? I tried using Find, and it highlighted a couple boxes with numbers and letters in them. Is that the 's' I should be using in step 5? I don't see anything that would change to 'owooshc01'?
Here's what it looked like after I did the search:

Myagi, thanks a lot for making that patch! Everything works great! As you said, frob effects a few minor things; I've noticed some Keeper guards light up from time to time when they're in fighting mode in the dark. Don't know why they chose to use the shader then (maybe they recycled Garrett textures for them?), but oh well, no biggie.
Also, I've got a tweak request, not sure it's possible with what we can change, but maybe: Allow the 'Stats' option to be accessed from the objectives menu (ie, at all times), instead of just the end mission menu.

I had hoped they'd use that shader a little more carefully :) maybe replacing the frob highlight textures is the better solution in the long run.
Regarding those who want a fainter arrow trail, but feel like it's too much work to hack/patch the files, the latest T3_patcher tool (from earlier today) has an option to replace the trails with a toned down version. May not be the effect you're looking for, but could be worth a shot (pardon the pun).
