I tired installing and playing Thief 3 on my virtual machine, XP. I'm running my VM on a Windows 7 OS.
I installed the game using a disk image, and a no cd crack.
My issue is that when I load the game, the game doesn't register where the mouse is, very well. It keeps registering it in the wrong area, almost as if the up or down arrow, but ti doesn't really have any definitive pattern, it just registers the pointer in random areas, making it REALLY difficult to press any buttons on the menu. It also happens in the briefings. When I start playing, the mouse seems to work fine.
I tried disabling the USB human interface devices, as the FAQ said to do.
If anyone can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated
