Thief 3 Loading screens just restart my PC

I have recently re-installed Thief: Deadly Shadows, and I am all excited load up the game play through the tutorial mission and once I get to the point to click continue on to the next mission, I get to see the cut-scene which is great. But after that when it is suppose to go into a loading screen my computer just restarts. So far I have only made it as far as the loading screen within the first level when you go through the transition portal to the second part of the castle.

I am running a dual core processor (1.87ghz each) I have a AMD Radeon 4850 which is a 1GB DDR3 Card, and 3GB of RAM. I am positive I have the latest graphic driver update as I just uninstalled and downloaded the one that they had on their site from Jan 2010.

Is there any help I can get with this problem? Has it occurred to someone before me?

I'm a Radeon (model is 4770, driver is 10.2, WinXP) and multi-core CPU user (Phenom X3 8450/2.1 GHz) too, but I have no problems with TDS at all. I'm not sure about your problem's root, but please try (URL=http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127533) this very small and pretty simple utility to fix a multi-core issue in TDS. If it won't help, then please try these:
1) Uninstall TDS.
2) (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Check-your-hard-disk-for-errors) Check your HDD(s) for errors.
3) Clean your Windows up with something like (www.ccleaner.com) this.
4) Defragment your HDD(s) with something like (www.defraggler.com) this.
5) Install TDS.
6) Install and apply at TDS an (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127533) afore-mentioned utility.
