Maps have been sent to snobel. Not everything is shiny yet but the endgame bug should be gone and several other issues.
Thanks for the update.

I am having an issue completing St. Edgars Cathedral, I put holy symbol in, and the gear to bring the cage down, and grabbed the Chalice, but the objective is not checked off.
I haven't tried the version that just came out yet, as it sounds like it won't fix this issue.

I believe I fixed it:

Apparently I really have to take a look at this thing. Either this or there is still some uncleanness in the set up process. Luckily this evening I'll have some time.
Edit: I've removed a requirement that you have to have read a note about the holy symbol and gear for the goal to be ticked off. The uncleanness in this probably was that you were able to place the gear and holy symbol in their receptacles but had to read the note about it first for the objective to tick off. So there were AFAIK two ways to solve this, either make the receptacles unfrobbable before reading the note or make reading the note not compulsory. I'm not entirely sure if that was the best way to fix it but due to the many possibilities in this goal system (having or having not read a certain note with or without the objects already in the inventory etc. etc.) I didn't try to make a complete analysis.
You might be able to smuggle a savegame from e.g. Garrett's apartment (since this map wasn't changed for quite a while) into the T3Gold mod folder (the new Sneaky Upgrade creates a menu for these folders in the start menu now) so you don't have to play everything up to St Edgar's to test it.

If you're installing the fat SU 1.1.4.2 and want to continue from a City save, then besides copying it into the correct savegames folder ("SaveGames-T3G-1.1") you need to make sure that it contains a text file named SaveGame.txt, and that that file contains the text "T3G-1.1" (no quotes). Otherwise the save won't show up in the game.
Mod saves are in the standard SaveGamePath location btw., in a mod and version specific folder as shown above. It's only for FMs that they are in the FM installation folder itself.

Unfortunately it looks like the St. Edgar's bug is not dead yet. It's T3G 1.1 on a fresh reinstall:

Objective to install stamped gear and holy symbol doesn't check off for some reason. I see this issue already reported in the forum and marked as fixed, but it obviously not fixed in my case.
1) I've looted everything and read every note I could find, including several notes related to that mechanism, BEFORE touching the mechanism
2) installed the gear and the symbol - objective doesn't check off. Tried multiple times, doing it fast or waiting for animation to complete before putting the gear - doesn't help :(

Oh, and here is a savegame just before placing those items, in case you need it: (

Ok, I solved my problem like so:
1) loaded earlier save in the City before St. Edgars mission
2) using notarget cheat, quickly looted everything in St. Edgars without reading anything!
3) entered the Chalice room, got the note the mechanism (but not the objective)
4) placed both items, taken the Chalice - this way I skipped that bugged objective altogether
5) mission ended successfully because of the active objectives, everything was checked off!
6) me happy and hopes there will be less show stoppers in the next missions :)
For the sake of the bug, just reloaded and tried this objective again. It triggers when you read one specific note in the high priest chambers, one at the table. There is no way to finish this objective afterwards, as far as I can tell.
St. Edgar's also has an issue with the post-briefing movie:
Quote:
about the first bug (briefing sound and movie), I tracked down the problem to this file:
Thief 3 Gold\Content\T3\Maps\Stonemarket2.ibt
If I rename this file to something else (practically reverting this map to vanilla state), without disabling T3Gold altogether, the St. Edgars briefing works just fine!
(phobos2077 has signed up here but can't post yet.)

St. Edgar's also has an issue with the post-briefing movie:
To clarify this: the problem is that when you use the glyph at St. Edgars in Stonemarket, the briefing screen opens but it has no sound (no speech, no UI effects) and there is no movie played after the briefing.
snobel on 6/1/2015 at 06:41
The lack of UI sound effects is particularly strange. Are you using the Stonemarket save you posted on Mod DB? If so, I'll try it tonight and see if I get the same behaviour. If not, can you post a new one?

Oh Christ... well, happy new year everyone! :D I'll have a look at this soon. Meanwhile, can somebody check if this happens in vanilla TDS, too? Maybe I should look for scripts querying the map transition, I might have missed something there.

No, it does not happen. If only I revert the Stonemarket2 files (rename them in Gold mod folder) and reload savegame in stone market - bug disappears. All other briefings work perfectly so it's definitely related to some scripts on this map.
