1. how will i run the FM's? is anyone out there going to make a darkloader sort of thing?
2. thief 3 was made for xbox so it looks like shit on pc. you have to install highres textures and other mods to make it look decent. but what can you do with it. i heard you have to have loading points( GAY ) and i have alwas noticed a blure when i move. i dont know what it is but its realy anoying. can you fix these things and make thief 3 at least feel like the originals?
3.is there any FM's avalible yet. i know its been out for a year and thats not that long for realy good FM's but if there is any let me know.

1. There are a couple projects in work to make a loading program. Garrett Loader seems to be the clostest to completion, from what I've seen lately.
2. Loading zones won't be quite as common. We can make much larger levels since we don't have the X Box constraints. Very large missions and campaigns will likely still need them, though. Don't know what to tell you on the blur problem. I've never had it. Get a beefier computer? :erg:
3. The first officially released FM was announced in the Contest: Best Small FM thread. You can download it from the link there.

As for making T3 feel like the originals, I'm working on an automated installer version of the editor that will be enhanced with bug fixes and retro fixes to eliminate the Console feel of the game. Whether people use it or not is another issue. Many like the default T3 look. It will be there for those who want to use it though.

2. Check out the Minimalist project (there'll be a link around here somewhere). I haven't actually tried it yet but the screenshots and changelog look very promising. :)
3. Well, the editor hasn't been out for that long, and most people are still figuring out how to distribute FMs. We're getting there, though; there's at least one officially released FM, and hopefully Komag's upcoming contest will get the ball rolling a little more enthusiastically than the last one did. :p

1) GarrettLoader was released 11th July, and is on version 1.02 and can be downloaded from my signature.
3) There are two out by Ziemanskye, however alot of people are having trouble with the Small Fan Mission contest one, but the townhouse one works great.

Yeah, I'm trying to fix the SFM comp entry, because while it's not a good mission, it means there's a wider test base for things like GL to work with.

You don't need the editor to run the FMs. Links for the two FMs can be found in the contest thread and in the Townhouse thread.
Have fun! :D
