:( Hello to All:
I have some editor problems that I do not know how to resolve.
I am working on my first map by following the T3E tutorial. I haven't had any problems with the editor until I was told by the T3E Tutorial to press the static mesh browser. When I press that browser, I get a viktoria error that displays the following: Hresult (Direct 3d device 8->set viewport) call stack. After I get this error then a small microsoft window pops up giving a choice to send errors and T3E crashes only, not the computer. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?
I have tried to move my folders around such as moving t3mian and t3editor to just C: and C\Programs but this did not solve the problem.
Again, as I have stated earlier, I am new to this. I am almost certain that I have installed the editor properly, however when I start the T3E Launcher, I get this same error or bug report. There are few selections at the bottom of this error report and if I press the ignore selection (button) the T3E will load and run normally, up until the static mesh browser.
Maybe I need some type of software emulation pixel shading program:do not know what kind though.
I would surely appreciate any advice. THANKS and CHEERS

What does the error you ignore when you first launch T3ed say?

I get the same viktoria error. But the editor does not give the choice to ingnore when I press that static mesh button.

Okay, some questions for you:
Can you run the main game okay?
Have you tried updating all of your drivers?
Shuttle on 6/8/2005 at 15:23
Yes. The main game runs ok. What drivers do I need to update? mb? video?
Ziemanskye on 6/8/2005 at 15:24
It's a long shot anyway, but start with the videocard, though really you might need to try updating everything.
Also, are you in 32bit colour on your desktop?
Shuttle on 6/8/2005 at 15:27
Yes, at 32bit screen resolution 960x600 --> Maybe this is the problem.
Ziemanskye on 6/8/2005 at 15:29
I think it needs 32bit and doesn't work in anything else.
960x600 seems bit odd though
