its in the listings of wine that can be added from the playonlinux wine repository...i think it has something to do with nvidia drivers and forcing it to fall back to a working patch for the graphics...

Interesting... I'll have to check that out at some point.
FWIW I compared your error list above with what I get with Wine 1.6. Ignoring the hex numbers I get all of them, plus a couple more.
