Thief 3 (deadly Shadows ) not working

Hi all,
I recently managed to download Thief 3 Deadly Shadows on my pc and was very excited about it..
My PC's configuration is as follows : Windows 8 x64, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series graphic card and i5 processor.
The installation went pretty fine and then I replaced the T3.exe in the system folder as suggested to run the game. But the game didnt run... In addition, I installed the patch 1.1, FOV, Tweaker, regedit etc to try out my hands to run the game..
It didnt work out though.. So please suggest me a way out to play the game..

I look for your comments guys !

the pirate bay edition is not supported.
