I looked at the Fan Missions forum FAQ today, in relation to this, and realised (again) how hopelessly outdated it was and in need of urgent update. Any takers?

:) It's not hate. Some people have had some problems with Darkloader 'reading' stuff in a particular order which means that some stuff isn't loaded properly. So many missions, so many mods. That's all.
Tobey, it might be best to run through the steps you've taken so far. I'm not sure what guide you're talking about - the FM Selector thread?

Yes, the FM selector thread.
What have I done? Not much. To recap:
I downloaded the Tafferpatcher. Then, I downloaded Thief2x, and got the CD missing message. Then, I tried googling around to see if I could find a solution, but I didn't understand much of what they said, and ultimately did nothing. I got a TTLG account and posted this, then tried clicking on the link Galaer provided. It didn't work, as I didn't understand what to do, and my computer decided it was unsafe and removed it. Since then I haven't done anything, except for read the other posts providing advice only to be confused because I didn't understand much of what they said.
