Hello all
I was messing about with the snd.crf file in the RES directory where i had installed thief 2.I originally renamed the snd.crf file to snd.zip, but now how do i convert my snd.zip file into an original snd.crf file, without re-installing thief 2?.I have now got no sound at all!!.Sorry to be a bother. Thanks for looking.

See if this link helps : (

Note that all orginal .crf-files are just renamed .zip files. So that's why just renaming their file extension to .zip gives your favorite archiving program ability to open, edit and extract files from them.

Don't rename them, just associate .crf files with your ZIP file program and you're good to go.

Sorted it out guys.I had to re-install thief 2,and then used my modified snd.crf file and it worked!.Maybe it was a .cfg file that was stopping my sound working?.
