Thief 2 Zoom in and out doesn't work.

I am playing a T2 mission, and the keys are assigned for zoom in and zoom out, however they don't work. I'm using FMsel

I don't know how to where to fix this other than in Options ingame

Mission 2...How is it possible to hit the buttons if the arrows don't reach?? They curve downwards before even getting remotely close to the button. It's like they don't have any umph to make it that far.

you zoom automatically when having your bow drawn for a few seconds. arrows are affected by gravity, aim higher to shoot further.

Are you perhaps playing a Thief 1/G mission? Because even with NewDark, I don't think the eye zoom will work there.

I know using the bow zooms in. I'm talking about regular zooming. I need to zoom in to a faraway spot but I can't get it to work. It's T2.

Check the bindings in the menu (controls-->customize controls). Is there a key assigned to the zoom?

Yes the [ and ]. I also removed them then readded them and still no effect

Assign "p" to zoom in and "L" to zoom out. Save it.

Mine are bound to [ and ] and work fine with no issues.

mine work in other missions, just not the one I'm playing now
