yeah.. going off topic.. But I'll just leave quickly explain. Golden Axe (a Classic Arcade game, ported to the MegaDrive and a number of consoles) was updated to use 3D models and stuff for the PS2.. It was one of the worst things anyone has ever seen.
Any.. Shut up time on my part ^_^

Albert, this thread is about widescreen. I suggest creating a new thread, either here or in the legacy tech help forums; because of the thread title people might not look in here to help you with this problem (that's why I suggest a new thread)

Well it all started when you mentioned graphical upgrades for thief. I was just suggesting that if you wanted to continue to talk about it, make a new thread.

yow,
i love the widescreen option for Thief
i just added it to Thief Gold, marvelous...BUT i have a strange thingie
when i look with the mouse to the right out of Garrets view
the guard in the corner of my screen gets fat and more close, when i
center the screen again looking forward the guard is in normal proportions
is this OK?:cheeky:

Depends on what % you set the FOV at, not to mention you are now seeing what used to be cut off.:D

hey jtr
thx for the reply
what do you mean by FOV
i have 24 inch screen and i put resolution to 1920x1080
what else should i do?
jtr7 on 10/4/2009 at 21:05
After you entered your resolution settings, you should've been asked to enter your Field Of View.
"Enter fov modification in percent (default 100):"
You can re-install the mod over and over with different settings and play around with the percentages until you find a decent compromise.

yes,
you are completely right
i used the default of 100
but i might play with that some more
thx for the usefull info
what screen, res and FOV do you play at? ;)
jtr7 on 11/4/2009 at 08:31
I tried 115% for the heck of it. I don't have too many problems for all the screenshots I take.
