I purchased a DVD-ROM from Sold Out Software a while ago that contained both Thief games, and something's been bothering me about it. Why do you have to have the Thief 2 side in the computer, but you can play Thief 1 without the DVD-ROM?

they havent implemented CD copy protection on that version of thief1 probably.
