Thief 2 locks up on my after five or ten minutes of play. This is after running very smoothly for years. I laid off for a long time and came back and now it doesn't work. I'm using an nvidia 6600 gt card. Have tried it with the latest drivers but also tried it with an older driver - Still locks up.

I'm using direct x 9, maybe for the first time while trying to play T2 fan missions so direct X is definitely a suspect.

Motherboard and other devices haven't changed in the last three years or so and worked fine before.

GTA San Andreas also locks up after a short while. Don't know if that's related.
