Hello all. I have been playing thief 2 for a LONG time with no issues. I started playing Broken Triad and had no issues for 3 weeks or so. Then I played for a couple hours one night, saved games, reloaded, played more, went to bed. Defragged the next day and that night when I went back to play, this pic is what I get. If I return to the original game it still is messed up. Did a restore to the previous day and it worked for another couple hours, then back to this. Any ideas.
PC AMD 5200 dual core, 2 gigs ram(forgot speed PC400? maybe) 512 meg NV gt9750. Running darkloader. All updates, tried new drivers, current anti-virus. Everything else runs fine.
Any help would be appreciated. If I need to reinstall Thief 2 that is fine, but, I would like to keep my saved games. How do i do that? Original game saves are not important, but FM's are if possible. Thanks again.

this is a known prob.. just check both the cam.cfg and ddfix.ini have the same resolutions etc.

Geforce 9750GT? I don't think such a card exists, did you mean the 7950GT?

Ooops. Your are correct!
For fear of feeling REALLY stupid, i cna't find the ddfix.ini in my t2 folder(or on the entire pc for that matter) Anyone want to point me in the right direction please?

Ok i found the ddfix patch and tried to install it. Everthing went into the t2 folder but I get an error message stating "Your copy of thief2.exe has already been patched" Try to play the game-black screen and a crash. Im lost. What can I look for?

Click on the "remove patch" button and then on the "apply patch" button.
