Hello everybody! I`m new here and I`ve been a huge Thief fan for ages, and recently had a great desire to play the series again. Thief Gold went great, finished it in a few days, and three days ago I installed TMA. But I got stuck...
I knew I had to follow certain steps to install and make thief 2 work properly, and I followed them accordingly. So, the game was installed, patched to 1.18, installed dark widescreen + ddfix fine, used the affinity setting via command prompt trick and - technically - I should've enjoyed the game. I did that. But only through the first mission. That's right, after Garrett, Basso and his lover get out of the mansion, and after Basso says "Shhh! Come with me!", THE GAME FREEZES! :eek: As soon as I press spacebar, the task ends and I`m on my desktop again. It just... freezes and shuts down in a blink.
I have an original CD, i reinstalled thrice, and the movies work just fine (intro movies etc, so there's no error with them) so... did any of you guys have a similar problem? Please help me in any way you can, thanks a million!
