Edit #2: it seems that the issue has returned. Not sure why. No new BG applications running and no changes to my config or my drivers.
EDIT #3: Sorry for the constant back and forth but I'm updating again in case it helps someone. Having steam open causes the issue.. I suspect it's because it's basically just a chrome browser now. Closing or reverting to the old Steam UI fixes the issue.
Having issues running the latest version of Thief 2 from GOG. In the menus AND in game I have frequent stuttering in between normal game performance making it pretty much unplayable.
I've combed through some threads on here, reddit, and the steam forums but I haven't been able to find a solution that works.
I have my gfx drivers set to allow the application settings and disabled all the AMD features.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
