PHONG is a name of a shader for 3D models (used everywhere in the mission).
Wagner:
- many pieces (include starting screen) was taken from Rientzi;
- wrong premiere music is from "Flying Dutchman" overture;
- "resonance music" is reverted Valkyries.
Also I used Sigfrid's theme somewhere... and many, many other pieces I can't remember by heart (or don't know how to translate into English).
Only two musical pieces are not Wagner's:
1 - CanCan performed by Vanessa Mae;
2 - final spiral camvator down the shaft: Alan Parsons Project - "The Casc Of Amontillado".

Zontik, thank you for the information, so that's what PHONG is (and I was wrong, it was there on the back of the statue before I lit the brazier). It must be Siegfrid I'm familiar with (it's probably been borrowed in many other contexts -- full of ominous, heavy feeling, full of signs and portents? -- since I've never heard the full opera.
But what a cool mission. Wow. Again. Wow. And what a plot line, heh, very Wagnerian? Poor king, chills went down my spine when I found he corpse of poor, dead Elizabeth.
About the secrets: I got eight of them on my own, (on replay) including after about 15 minutes of looking for a switch, I finally shot the cup down!)

It was not intentional, but it was inevitable. (The plot was not ready at once - it was driving me while progressing: changes, twists, details... I had no intention to

Neither Sigfrid nor Siegfrid seems to be correct, it's spelled Si

Seriously, I don't speak any Russian but I know it's customary to translitterate names from other languages to the closest Russian sound values, so Wagner becomes Vagner etc. In Finnish London is Lontoo...
Zontik, as to Wagner, or rather W. Anger, an amazing likeness, I can't remember ever seeing anything like this done in any Thief FM. And the characters really look different from each other (doctor, etc.). Did you do this with PHONG? Just amazing.
