I'm in the elevator and it stopped. I'm making noises by hitting with the club and jumping up and down. But there is no rope arrow to help me climb up to the 3rd floor. What do I do now?
I had the slippers on but think I have them off now. Hopefully someone can still hear me with all the racket I'm creating. No, no one.

Try again. If you have sword (on Allegro only), hit the wall or metal part of the wall (elevator support). If you have no sword, use blackjack. Jump without slippers several times. At last, hit the ceiling or the elevator platform with broadhead.
If nothing helps, try to load previous save (before starting elevator ride). But it seems close to impossible, nobody has such a stubborn bug there.

Zontick/anyone,
I tried another 10 times with the club (don't have a sword) and broadhead arrows no rope went down for me.:confused: I don't think the slippers will come off because no matter what I do my noises are zilch. I even fired a fire arrow up there. Nothing.
Is there another way up to the 3rd floor?

I'm on the hardest setting.
I decided to start on a saved game before the slippers. I have two keys, the passage key and the Key to the East Wing, fire arrow, gas arrow two rope arrows, two note sheets, can can score, 5 sprays and I pressed a book in the library that said a name of the book. Before going up to the 3rd floor, is there another key to get? I don't want to get stuck upstairs and not be able to get back down again. Or is there something I need to finish here?
I tested out the elevator and did not save the game to see what happens. I was now stuck on the 3rd floor and doors were locked. Didn't know what to do from here. Also I shot the key that was stuck in the door with the broadhead, but it didn't come out it stayed in the door.
Also, what number is Anger's room? I can't locate it. Where is the valet person, is he the person reading in a room with a big book?
This is truly a fantastic game. I just love it, but as you can see, I need a little help from time to time. I promise I won't ask anymore questions and will figure the rest out myself.
BTW, thank you for wanting to help me when I was stuck in the elevator.

You never can go further without making all necessary things, so don't bother about that.

I know I promised not to ask any more questions, but darn if I have to give up the promise. I shouldn't have promised in the first place, I just didn't want to be a pest. This is one hard mission! I'm nearing 8 hours of play and I already went back as you know a few hours or so.
I need to get grotto water. I got water arrows from it, but they work as regular water arrows. Do I need a container and if so where would that be? I need this to mix with the doctors potion in his room.
Also I have evidence of the King being mad, what fire do I put this in?
There are so many guards again, I'm going on another club rampage. But there are a couple of guards that have hard hats on and can't be KO, so I used the gas arrows on the guards in the singing hall. Have to be careful around hard hats and sneak.
Where is the puzzle for the Library? I found the book and it had a name, but what happened?
How do you work the record player. I have his baton, record and music. Now I'm locked in this room with no way out.
I still do love this mission. My favorite mission of all time and I've been playing these FM for years and years.

Not at all, but I like the idea. On the other side, water arrows from Green Grotto are mixed with the same from the castle, how can you separate them?
The correct way is to find King's last flask with that water (remember his diary?), hidden somewhere in
Throne Hall.

Unfortunately once you KO him, he can get conciousness again (later). He has a good wealth.

It's not a puzzle you can solve within this single mission. Just forget about book for a while.
"Library puzzle" activates after
frobbing a switch in the attic, behind the picture. (Attic is a space above Singer Hall.) Nothing happenes as you can see, but now you have to return to the library to see the changes.
